How to find us

Central location
Sisimiut Iværksættercenter is situated in the old shipyard at the quiet end of Sisimiut Harbour. The building is a stylishly and recently renovated red wooden building specially fitted out for its function of enterprise centre and Nataaliorfik/Grønlands Innovationscenter, which also shares the building’s large, functional work hall.

Not far from the Centre is Greenland’s most advanced shrimp and fish processing factory, and along the quays where trawlers, Atlantic supply ships, passenger ships and cruise liners often call in, is a lively, active and inspiring working environment.

An enterprising local community
The people of Sisimiut are known in Greenland for their enterprise and willingness to improve and develop themselves. With its 5500 people, the town is large enough to accommodate many businesses, schools, advanced technical courses and provide good links with the rest of world by sea or air.

At the same time, the town is a compact power house, offering close contact between trade and industry and the public sector. This sites the Iværksættercenter squarely in a well-run local community and an attractive development area.

Thanks to this, entrepreneurs at the Centre can find most of the resources they need in Sisimiut, and are never far from support and guidance.
