Arctic Circle Region

Here in the Arctic Circle Region you can always sleep well after a fine day filled with exciting activities.

In Kangerlussuaq and Sisimiut, you’ll find accommodation to suit all pockets, and in the region’s two smallest villages, Itilleq and Sarfannguit, there are no proper accommodation facilities, but the option of staying with a Greenlandic family is always available if you enquire with the locals.

The region’s mountains are besides freely accessible if you’re travelling with a tent on foot, by snowmobile, or skis or by dog sled, and dotted around the landscape between Sisimiut and Kangerlussuaq, you’ll find a number of basic hiking cabins for outdoor folks and hunters.
