Flying from Iceland
Air Iceland flies from Reykjavik in Iceland to Kulusuk on Greenland’s east coast all year round, with daily flights in the summer part of the year and a weekly flight during the winter part. Air Greenland flies a direct connection to Kangerlussuaq from Kulusuk.

Flying within Greenland
AirGreenland provides regular flights between Kangerlussuaq and Sisimiut, and there are fixed connections to flights going on to and from the US and Denmark. From Kangerlussuaq and Sisimiut there are also internal flights to a large number of destinations along the west coast.
From Kangerlussuaq you can also fly to Kulusuk on Greenland’s east coast, where Air Iceland flies to and from Iceland.

By ship in Greenland
Arctic Umiaq Lines passenger ship serves the settlements of the Greenlandic west coast from Qaqortoq in the south to Ilulissat in the north, also providing weekly arrivals and departures to/from Sisimiut. Since the town’s harbour is ice-free all year round, the coastal ship is able to call in on the service connecting to southern Greenland the entire year.

The villages of Itilleq and Sarfannguit are served by the local village ships, which sail the routes to Sisimiut, and southwards to Kangaamiut and Maniitsoq.
