Part of the appeal of a small village is the living conditions in a place without hotels, youth hostels and campsites.

It’s possible to arrange accommodation in Sarfannguit in a private home, but there’s no organized scheme, so we recommend you enquire with the local population. There are also good possibilities for sleeping in a tent on the island on which the village is sited.

However, many visitors opt for a day trip to the village, after which they return to Sisimiut town for the night.
